You can download the system image here (read the installation recommendations on the website) or update the system on rig via the upgrade -b latest command
For a correct update, we recommend using the following sequence of actions:
1. Stop mining (Actions - Pause)
2. Restart the worker (Actions - Reboot)
3. Update with the upgrade -b latest command (after a successful update, the rig will automatically restart)
4. Start mining
RaveOS 1.0.25 (8650-1950)- GNU Linux Kernel version 5.10.3
- Nvidia drivers 460.56, CUDA 11.2.1, AMD-5.10.3, OpenCL driver from package 20.40
New functionality:- Added AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 support
- Support for the chinese watchdog
- Implemented initial support for NVMe drives
- New SET options for Nvidia GPUs:
- --fixclk=930 - set fixed core frequency for the 20th, 30th series (Experimental option! In some cases, it can help reduce power consumption)
- --fixpstate=1 - disable switching cards by CUDA and OpenCL drivers to the PState2 mode. Similar to CudaForceP2State=off option in Nvidia Inspector app (Windows). !!ATTENTION!! Global setting, will applied to ALL cards (Experimental option! May give the ability to set higher memory frequencies)
- Added rig console commands:
- clear-miners - forced removing all miners from miner directory
- clear-logs - forced removing all logs from the miner log directory
- crs-on, crs-off - manage the Large BAR option !!ATTENTION!! Use at your own risk! It is possible to lose control of the worker and may cause a cyclic reboot!
- fix-fs - checking the integrity of the file system
- resize-os - expanding the system partition to the entire available drive volume
- rds value - restarting the system with a delayed start. It can take a numeric value in seconds (the default value is 60 seconds) Example: rds 30 - will turn off the device and then turn it on after 30 seconds
- set-tz value, list-tz - set the time zone of the rig, view the available time zones
- Added worker name endings for 'mixed' rigs (nv, amd) to correctly display statistics on pools
Changes and fixes:- The system bootloader has been updated in the installation image. May solve some problems with a cyclic restart at startup
- Redesigned logging system. Implemented saving part of the miner and kernel log to the application log file in case of GPU and OS errors. The user can view the last 150 lines of each log file in the web interface (menu Actions-Workers logs)
- Application log file /var/log/app/app.log
- System log file /var/log/massages
- Changed the functionality of the initial disk partitioning. During installation, size of the system partition will expand to 8GB. To expand the partition to the entire available volume, use the resize-os command
- Fixed fan operation on AMD graphics cards with Navi 10, Navi 14, and Navi 21 chips:
- Navi 10 (Radeon RX 5600, Radeon RX 5600 XT, Radeon RX 5700, Radeon RX 5700 XT, Radeon RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary Edition)
- Navi 14 (Radeon RX 5500 XT, Radeon RX 5500)
- Navi 21 (Radeon RX 6800, Radeon RX 6800 XT, Radeon RX 6900 XT)
- Nvidia overclocking fixes
- Solved the problem with restarting the mining task after restoring connection to the server
- Optimized network settings, file system operation, system update process
